Snabajob is the WORST thing that has ever happened to job searches

I have been trying for days to apply for available jobs... the ones that you have to navigate through snagajob to get are a joke! It freezes up and will not allow you to fully complete the application process. When I have called some of these businesses to report my problem their usual response is something like, wow, I wondered why no one was applying for positions... DUH! If that's the case, maybe you employers should check into it! Snagajob is NO GOOD! In fact, it's a joke! Wake up employers! There are people out here who need your jobs and who want to work!

Deceptive Business Practices

As an employer, you should stay away from this company. They suckered me in with a promotion that was supposed to run for 30 days but canceled the ad after 1 -day. They also will auto-renew your ads and its extremely difficult to cancel. Better options are available.

Offered us 1/2 invoice for one month as "assistance" during Covid! Thanks a lot!

We contracted with PeopleMatter to handle onboarding of employees. The site promised a ton of features- but after several months, we reduced the service with them to just onboarding- many of the other features they said they were "working on" or great- just never cam to fruition or ever worked in the first place. We contacted them in March requesting a hold on our account so we could work through Covid- we have several restaurants. PeopleMatter offered a 1/2 month off. Thats it. We asked to suspend our account- they refused. We asked to terminate- but they said we were before our renewal date- but within 60 days- so they charged us for the entire year. We called, emailed many many times- when a person got back us- they said" what can I help you with"? They care clueless. We ended up terminating our account and will never go back. During this time PeopleMatter was purchased by Snag a JOb- another company having many poor reviews. These people suck.

This site barely operates effectively

So it wont allow you to prefill by uploading/downloading your resume! So you have to sit there and fill out years wortg of job history just to apply for a food job cause thats all they have available!

Wasteful

Most of the jobs that are listed you have to create other accounts with them Snagajob is a very misleading and half of the sites that are rub you cannot finish your applications on them it's a waste of storage in your phone and it's a waste of time

Worst customer service ever, employers do yourself a favor and look for an alternative.

You only hear from them when is time to renew your contract, they say they will work with you if you are in trouble during Covid times but if you are under contract they don't (see other reviews). They don't stand behind their product.

Too many scam jobs

I would rather stick to Indeed. I apply on snagajob and most of the emails i get back are scams. Its annoying. They need to have a better way of detecting scam accounts

Useless

Useless. No job offers. To delete your account you have to 'submit a case request'. Case request form does not display the 'submit' button in Chrome. Avoid.

Posts scam job openings or openings that don't exist at all

While I'm bombarded multiple times a day with emails from SnagAJob with job opportunities, majority of the time they are openings that either don't actually exist once I click to be linked to the opening on their website or they're full blown scams. Two examples: first, I get an email at 10am about a variety of open roles with Amazon. When I click to see these openings, they aren't actually there. Furthermore, I check Amazon's actual job board and they haven't been hiring at all. Second example, I kept getting email after email after email for WEEKS with a job opening from the Post Office. When I finally check it out and go through the application, it asks me to pay $40 in "admin fees" to have my application processed. When I look into this matter, turns out this is a fairly common scam website posing as a post office job board. SnagAJob DIRECTLY directed me to this job application.

I could've had my payment method compromised, leading to the potential loss of thousands of dollars in my bank account, all because SnagAJob doesn't vet through scam openings. I've also never heard back from a job when I applied via SnagAJob, but have heard back from the same jobs when I've applied on the actual company's job board. Snag is a waste of time and honestly dangerous if you're not internet savvy. Don't waste your time.

People (don't) Matter!

I requested Snagajob/PeopleMatter to put my account on hold while my business was closed for two months due to the coronavirus. They refused to work with me at all. I was planning on continuing to use this company, but I will never work with them again. Terrible service!

Information requested could be used for identify fraud and scam

Watch out. This is potentially a scam site for employers. They asked us for our federal tax id and business name. DO NOT give them your information. Whoever recommends this site might be in on their identify scam.
